I feel that lessons should be low stress and high enjoyment, so that is the atmosphere I try to create and work from for your lessons. I think you will find that you learn best when you're relaxed and having fun.
After growing up in the Burlington area, I spent 20 years in San Francisco, where I founded, owned and directed the Sunset Academy of Music, and taught hundreds of students to play the guitar. In 2007 I relocated back to my home state of Vermont, and have been teaching privately here since. I am currently interested in taking on new students. I enjoy teaching beginners as well as advanced students. I have a Master of Music Degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and extensive experience teaching children, teens, and adults.
