More Information about Our History
From 1993 to 1995, Jon Kolozvary, our company founder, attended the Agricultural Technical Institute which is a branch of Ohio State University located in Wooster, Ohio. In 1994, Jon founded The Greensmith from his residence in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. It wasn't until 1998 that Jon purchased our current company location in Hinckley, Ohio and in 2002, he first established the garden center and the gift shop.
