If you’re like me it can be very difficult to relax. We live in a society and time in history where we are pressured by so many things throughout our day and we stay so busy that we forget to take care of ourselves. The damage it does to our bodies as well as straining our emotions and mental well being can be long term and debilitating. So, what is the answer? Drugs? Alcohol? Have you noticed how many commercials are pushing pills? We have become addicted to prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
My name is Steve. I was born in May of 1960 in Brunswick, Maine. I graduated high school majoring in Math and Music in 1978. I moved to Tulsa in 1982 where I met my beautiful wife in 1984. We we’re married in Sep 1986. We lived in Tulsa on 3 different occasions and in Maine twice. After my wife’s sudden passing in Oct 2017 I moved back here to Brunswick, Maine.
As you can see by the picture here I have two gorgeous dogs: Mattie, a Landseer Newfoundland born in Aug 2010 and Boomer, a Great Pyrenees born in Aug 2014. They are definitely my "kids" and great source of joy in my life.
My favorite past time is to be out in the wild! Whether it’s riding a river on a raft or canoe, camping, hiking in the Rockies, or even repelling I absolutely love the outdoors.
There’s nothing like the thrill of climbing a mountain to it’s peak and being able to see for miles around or riding class five rapids in a fast moving river.
