Sophie is a licensed Professional Engineer and a registered Designer (BCIN holder) with the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing (BCIN). Sophie completed her engineering studies at the University of Waterloo in 2004, and in 2017, completed all of the necessary courses to become a registered Designer for large buildings, small buildings, and houses. Her work focuses on helping individuals, families, and small businesses plan, design, and obtain permits to begin their construction projects in Eastern Ontario from SD&G to the Kingston region.
Sophie has worked in both the design and construction industries since 2001 and has experience ranging from land development planning, through to commercial, institutional and multi-residential sector construction management.
When Sophie isn’t drafting new plans or running to manage permit applications, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her family, singing with the Centennial Choir of Cornwall, or reading a good book.
